Cash and personal check are accepted for payment at the beginning of the session. From my experience when patients pay at the beginning of the session it helps reinforce that ours is a therapeutic relationship and it allows us to work up until the last second of session without stopping to handle finances. I do not take insurance but I am happy to supply you with a monthly statement (aka super bill) for you to submit to your insurance carrier for reimbursement.


You may contact me by phone or email for scheduling issues only. Although texting and emailing are very convenient methods of communication they are not secure. So in the interest of maintaining the highest level of confidentiality only contact me by telephone with questions involving clinical issues. If I am not available to take your call immediately please leave a voicemail and I will return your call as soon as I am able. If I do not respond within 24 hours please assume mechanical failure and call again. I do not respond to texts.

In the event you are experiencing a medical or psychiatric emergency please call 911 or go to the nearest hospital immediately. If there is a threat to your personal safety or the safety of others please call 911 and request immediate help.


I have reserved a weekly appointment time especially for you and you are responsible for keeping to that time. Cancellations require 48 hours notice prior to your scheduled appointment time. If your appointment is not cancelled within the required time period you will be charged the full fee for your missed session. If you are sick you will not be charged for a missed appointment.


It is very important to understand that in order for progress and healing to occur in therapy, it is imperative you attend sessions and dedicate yourself to addressing the painful issues that brought you into treatment.
